2:09 that's not hyper dashing. That's wavedashing. Hyperdashing is done by first crouch-dashing on the ground and then immediately jumping and holding forward. A normal hyperdash does not let you regain dash while wavedashing does. However, an extended hyperdash, which is done by waiting a few more milliseconds after crouch-dashing and then jumping, allows you to regain dash. However, it requires more horizontal space, while wavedashing requires more vertical space. This is why one type of dashing is not always preferred. The type of dash to use depends on the situation, however, wavedashing is preferred most of the time. Other than that, great video!!

The wiki says theres like a 55% chance of an altar spawning on a level, and a 99% chance of seeing one before vlads, and ive played enough of this game to call BS on that. Your 36% chance definititely seems more reasonable
